Custom Artwork American Mahjong Set

No — unless a title and pack shot clearly say otherwise. Our themed sets are sold as tiles (and any packaging named in the title). Acrylic racks with pushers, table mats, card holders, dice, and travel bags are listed separately so we never invent “complete” bundles. Shop Table essentials · racks, mat, and the mat & racks guide. A standard American Mahjong (Mah Jongg) set has about 166 tiles, including jokers used for NMJL-style hands. That differs from many Chinese sets (often ~144) and Japanese riichi sets. Read each listing for American format when you play with a yearly NMJL card. See how to choose · 166 vs 144, the NMJL cards guide, and the beginner starter.

We do not sell the official National Mah Jongg League card. The League publishes a new card of hands each year — buy the current card from the League or your club (we do not invent or reprint a year-specific card). Ersashopline is an independent retailer and is not affiliated with the NMJL. We sell card holders, sleeves, and line finders so your official card stays readable — cards pictured for fit are not included. Full walkthrough: NMJL cards guide. Modern boutique American sets on Ersashopline are usually acrylic (sometimes called lucite): durable, colorful, and easy to wipe. Vintage bone-and-bamboo sets are collectible but different to maintain — we do not invent bone SKUs or “ivory” claims without real pack shots. Choose acrylic for themed gifts and everyday ladies’ night; read each product title for material and what is included. See how to choose · material and theme, the gift chooser (prefer guide hashes — bare /gift drops the hash on redirect), catalog search, and compare sets. This listing is for the tiles and any packaging named in the title — read the specs and gallery on this page. Acrylic racks, mat, NMJL holders, wind/dice kit, and carry cases are separate Accessories SKUs shown under Complete the table. We do not invent ABS foam, magnetic wood, or spare-tile packs without pack shots. More on the site FAQ · starter table.
